The Stadt-Apotheke in Wiesloch (Town Pharmacy Wiesloch, Germany), situated near by Heidelberg, is called to be the First Gas Station in the world on behalf of Bertha Benz' first fill stop in August 1888 during the first long distance drive from Mannheim to Pforzheim with an automobil (ca. 65 miles).
